Arizona Trip

We went to Arizona in February to visit Grammy, Papa, Aunt Jen and Uncle Gabe. It was nice to escape the COLD Minnesota winter...... We went to the zoo and the air museum -- Carter had a blast! We really enjoyed spending time outside. We hope to make it back next Fall.

Carter is TWO!

Yesterday was Carter's second birthday......boy did he have a fun filled day. He woke up to balloons and streamers, presents, his favorite breakfast and then we were off to Chuckie Cheese. We played every game at least two times. :) We had a birthday dinner -- Carter had his favorites -- peanut butter and jelly sandwich with mashed potatoes. We ate something else. ha! Uncle Sparky came over -- and we opened more presents. Carter was pretty amazed with the candles on his cake...... He was a tired boy when it was time for bed. It's hard to believe our baby is two!!

Our First Sledding Adventure

It warmed up a bit last weekend so we took Carter sledding......he loved it! When it was time to go in though he was ready.....he said, brrrrr.....cold. Daddy told him we lived in a crazy state and that some day he would take him somewhere warmer. :)

*Christmas 2007*

We spent Christmas in South Dakota this year..... Carter had a good time with his cousins Gracie and Emma.....and he loves hanging out with Grandpa and Grandma too! We celebrated the holiday with the Veeder and Olson side of the family as well....it was good to see everyone! A few of Carter's favorite this year: a wagon from Grandpa and Grandma, a new train (dad went all out), a kitty that meows and prrrs, and his Fish Book that he carries everywhere! He even told us one day while riding in the car that 'our car' is

Christmas with Grammy and Papa Kucera!

We opened our gifts with Grammy and Papa tonight -- they were in AZ and we were in MN but that doesn't stop us from getting together! :) Can you see Grammy and Papa in the room?! Thank goodness for technology!! Carter loved his new blocks.....we will be building "BEEEG (big) towers". We love you Grammy and Papa.....

And they say......it's a GIRL!!

We had an ultrasound appointment yesterday and I was 90 percent sure we were having another boy -- but they say......it's a girl. I guess we'll know for sure come May. Baby Girl Kucera was very active during the ultrasound -- we saw fingers and toes. It's just as exciting the second time around.

We wish everyone a Safe and Merry Christmas -- we are off to South Dakota for the weekend.

Shane turns 30!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY DADDY!!

Shane turned 30 yesterday. We had a day packed with fun! We did breakfast and presents in the morning, we left work early for an ultrasound appointment, and uncle sparky came over to babysit while we went out for dinner and bowling with The Geske's.
